It belongs to the Nampljinpa/Jampljlnpa and Nangala/Jangalas groups. Located in a sheltered basin, the Lappi Lappi rockhole is a permanent water source and is surrounded by country rich in wildlife.

In Jukurrpa time, all the young children would gather there because it was a safe place. Lappi Lappi Rockhole is home to a “warnayarra,” a rainbow snake that travels underground between different rockholes.

One day, women were gathered at the rock hole with their children, singing and dancing. When the “Wamayarrah” heard the sound of their voices, it slowly made its way towards them, under the water. When it reached the edge of the rock hole, it came out of the water and ate them all.i, a rock hole near Lake Hazlett, about 90 km northwest of Lake Mackay In Western Australia.
