Wattle
Jennifer Keeler-Milne (born 1961, Melbourne, Australia) is a contemporary artist renowned for her oil paintings and large-scale charcoal drawings. She trained at Melbourne State College, the Victorian College of the Arts, and the College of Fine Arts (Sydney), and currently lives and works in Sydney.
Her work explores a sensitive connection to nature, whether through Australian landscapes or detailed floral compositions. Her oil paintings draw on traditional techniques to create striking contemporary images, while her drawings reveal the delicacy and complexity of plant life, often on a monumental scale.
Jennifer Keeler-Milne exhibits regularly in Australia and internationally, and her work is held in public and private collections, including the Art Gallery of New South Wales. She has been a finalist for the Dobell Drawing Prize multiple times and is recognized as one of Australia’s most acclaimed contemporary artists for her contemplative and technically accomplished approach.
Alongside her artistic practice, she runs Dare to Draw, her own drawing school, where she shares her methods and passion for drawing with emerging artists and enthusiastic learners.
