Like most Aboriginal painters, Letisha depicts a story from the primordial Dreamtime, during which mythical beings (the Lightning Men, the Rainbow Python, the Yam, etc.) created Australia and founded the moral, religious and spiritual laws that still govern today's Aboriginal culture.
With this painting, the artist evokes the Dream (Jukurrpa) of Fire (Warlukurlangu) linked to the territory of the same name, Warlukurlangu, located south-west of Yuendumu, in the central desert.
