This artwork titled “Talisman” depicts the flight of an eagle toward the Earth. The eagle is black, both threatening and powerful. Its feathers emphasize the lightness of its flight.

The sun or the moon, the round shape, gives us a sense of passing time, the eagle is chasing time, we are on Earth for a brief moment. The black color of the sculpture refers to the charred nature of the Australian bush, which burns easily, becoming stronger and allowing nature to regenerate.

This work, a true metaphor for the human condition, reveals both our fragility and our remarkable capacity for resilience and adaptation.
