A member of the Yuendumu community, here the artist celebrates Purturlu, a site for which she is responsible on religious grounds. The women of her lineage come here to gather Ngalyipi (wild vine), a plant used to make containers and represented on the canvas by vine-like motifs.
The story of the Dream - or Jukurrpa - associated with this plant is passed on to the young men during initiation ceremonies.
