In his work, the artist mainly evokes the “paths” travelled by the Great Ancestors of the Dreamtime - when, emerging from the original magma, they began to shape Australia to the rhythm of their peregrinations across the continent, creating tribes and clans and giving them laws and customs.
As they passed away, these Great Ancestors (spirits, heroes, animals, even plants) left people with memories of their exploits in the form of dreams. Dreamtime was then given to this period of the world's creation.
