Living in Haast Bluff, a small community in the central desert surrounded by majestic mountains, Eunice is part of the Ikuntji art centre.

In this painting, she depicts a Dreaming passed down to her by her mother, who came from a family group - the Warlpiri - whose territory lies further north.

She didn't want to tell us the ins and outs of this legend, which is known only to the initiated. All we know is that it tells of the sacred watering hole of Winbarrku, surrounded by dunes around which flowers grow as a symbol of fertility.
