Warlayirti Artists is located in the community of Wirrimanu (Balgo), on the edge of the Tanami Camp in the Great Sandy Desert, 300 km south of Halls Creek. Warlayirti enjoys a well-deserved national and international reputation for its vibrant acrylic paintings and original limited edition prints. In addition to two galleries of artwork for sale, it also houses a collection of important artworks and artifacts, as well as a professional recording studio. 

The artists at Warlayirti, including Wendy Wise, live in Balgo, Billiluna, and Mulan, but their country stretches across the deserts far to the east, west, and south, along the Canning Stock Route. Seven different language groups are represented throughout Warlayirti.
