In the Balgo Hills are three swampy places (or tjurrnu): Wangkartu, Ngakalpa and Karrulyar, symbolized by three dark circles lined up in the middle of the canva. It is the first of these swamps that gives the canvas its title.
The irregularity of the colored lines, reminiscent of waves or vibrations, suggests this life, and the canvas itself seems to breathe and radiate not only within its own surface but also beyond it, as if it were only a fragment of a much larger whole.
