In the works in this series, G. W. Bot blends broad shapes with very fine incisions to create a personal calligraphic language inspired by her extensive reading. Playing with materials, supports and colours, she recreates an imaginary world. The result is a veritable work of embroidery, where the poetry of the line combines with an impression of lightness to create a truly dreamlike universe.
