Fiona Wells is originally from Ernabella. Born in the 1980s, she only started painting and ceramics in 2015.
Having three children, she divides her days between her family and her artwork.
Fiona is an emerging artist who is not afraid to break away from the traditional motifs and dreams of her family and community.
This ceramic is part of that movement. She creates her own motifs, inspired by plants and bush foods in particular, which she then applies to the ceramic.
The work was broken during transport and restored.
