Lavinia Ketchell, born in 1993, is an artist from the art community of Erub on Darnley Island in the Torres Strait. She makes sculptures of marine animals in ghostnet. With this work, Lavinia pays homage to the ray, the totemic animal of the Torres Strait Islands.
