The Ngara series takes its name from the Gadigal word ngara, meaning 'to see, think and feel'. This term goes beyond simply describing an action; it encapsulates the Gadigal people's philosophy of life. It evokes the idea of sitting in a space and meditating on the slowness and deep knowledge required to transform a natural element into something useful to humans.

Konstantina's work is remarkable, using matt and glossy acrylics to create a particularly rich and subtle textural effect.
