Born in Great Britain, Alastair McNaughton studied art before beginning a career as an illustrator. Passionate about photography, he later decided to travel the world with his camera. He has journeyed across Africa, Southeast Asia, India, Peru, and Cuba, and spent four years living in the community of Coonana (Western Australia).
At the heart of his photographs are scenes of daily life and the surrounding landscapes.
