Born in Great Britain, Alastair McNaughton studied art before starting a career as an illustrator. Passionate about photography, he later decided to travel the world with his camera. He has journeyed across Africa, Southeast Asia, India, Peru, and Cuba, and spent four years living in the community of Coonana (Western Australia).
At the heart of his photographs are scenes of everyday life and the surrounding landscapes.
