Originally from Elcho Island in northern Australia, Aboriginal artist Peter Datjin Burarrwanga often deals with his favourite motif, the ganiny, an instrument used to bark Paper Bark Trees, a variety of eucalyptus that grows in the northern part of the continent. Collections:
