Biography

Madeleine Dixon Napangardi was born in 1973 in Yuendumu, a community located about 290 km from Alice Springs in central Australia. She belongs to the Warlpiri people.

She is the custodian of several Dreamings (Jukurrpa), including the Ngalyipi Jukurrpa, or “Snake Vine Dreaming,” and the Mina Mina Dreaming.
