Evelyn Daniels Nampijinpa was born in 1971 in Yuendumu, a remote Aboriginal community 290 kilometres north-west of Alice Springs in Australia's Northern Territory. Evelyn Daniels Nampijinpa joined the Yuendumu Art Centre in 2001. Evelyn Daniels Nampijinpa illustrates sacred dream stories linked to the traditions and beliefs of her Warlpiri ancestors, such as the Watiya-warnu Jukurrpa (Seed Dreaming) associated with the Nampijinpa/Nangala clan of women and the Jampijinpa/Jangala clan of men.
