Biography

Eddie Aning-Mirra Kerry, born in 1971, lives and works in the Maningrida community, in Central Arnhem Land. A sculptor, he specializes in depicting Mimih spirits, ceremonial figures central to Aboriginal culture. His works, made from wood and natural pigments, convey a deep understanding of the Dreamtime and the ancestral stories of his community.
