Le Dibadib est un pendentif de guerrier. Quand un guerrier a fini son initiation, il a le droit de porter ce collier de coquillage en nacre.
Il est rond pour signifier que son propriétaire est un guerrier complet. Il est porté à l’occasion d’une bataille, d’une cérémonie ou d’une danse.
Ceux qui sont en forme de croissant appartiennent à des guerriers qui sont encore en cours d’initiation.

Dibadib is a warrior’s pendant. When a warrior becomes fully initiated he is entitled to wear this pearl shell necklace. The shell is round, to signify that you are a full warrior. It is worn in battle and in ceremonies and dance.
Crescent shaped pendants are worn by the warriors who have not yet attained fully initiated status.
